The Top 10 Books On My Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books on my Spring TBR. In no particular order…

1. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab

gr-theunbound

I’ve got to read it now that I have an autographed copy!

2. Calamity by Brandon Sanderson

gr-calamity

I’m impatiently waiting for my library copy to become available and excited to see how Brandon Sanderson ends the series! (Though did you hear about the new series that is an alternate universe to what we see in The Reckoners?! WHAAAAAT.)

3. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

gr-truthwitch

I’m one of those writers who has come to love Susan Dennard exclusively for her candidness about writing and publishing, but I’ve been meaning to read one of her books, and this is my book club’s next pick so it’s about time!

4. Looking for Lovely by Annie F. Downs

gr-lookingforlovely

Annie’s Let’s All Be Brave was in my top 3 favorite books I read last year, so I’m excited for her new book coming out next month and can’t wait to read it!

5. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord (Reread)

gr-thestartofyouandme

I think I’ve decided to reread another one of my fave books from last year when I go on vacation in May!

6. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

gr-sense&sensibility

I’ve been reading one Jane Austen book a year for some time, and this is my last Jane Austen novel to read, so I want to knock it off earlier in the year rather than later.

7. On The Loose by Jenny B. Jones

gr-ontheloose

I enjoyed the first book of this series, In Between, and want to dive back into Katie’s world sometime soon!

8. The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski

gr-winners-kiss

I’m ready to see how this trilogy ends!

9. When We Collided by Emery Lord

gr-whenwecollided

New Emery Lord! Enough said!

10. Out of the Easy by Ruta Septys

Pro of reading this book: I have read all of Ruta’s books this year! 🙂 Con: I will have no more Ruta books to read for a while. 🙁

What’s on your TBR for this spring?

  1. Great list! I love the Katie Parker books. Did you see that Jenny Jones has another book coming out this month? It’s called I’ll Be Yours and sounds very cute. I completely forgot about it, or I would have put it on my TTT list.

  2. Ahhhh I keep forgetting that Ruta has Out of Easy! I still have to read Between Shades of Gray, but at least I’m not in your situation where you only have one of her books left to read 😉

    • I know, I kind of forget about it sometimes too because it’s not WWII so it’s not high on my radar, but I’m loving her books so I think I’ll like it!

  3. Out of the Easy was such a great book! The Winner’s Kiss is on my TTT as well. A few others here are on my general TBR stacks/lists. Especially Truthwich and The Unbound. They will likely be read this year. I hope your spring is filled with amazing reads!

  4. I REALLY need to read The Archived! I kind of can’t believe I haven’t, because I ADORED Vicious, and almost everyone I know loves The Archived, as well. I also have two copies, so there is NO excuse for it XD

I have never read a Brandon Sanderson novel, but I know how it feels coming to the end of a series. I hope you love it, Amy!

The Winner’s Kiss!!! I really want that series to have a HEA. If it doesn’t, I will be so sad ;(

I have When We Collided for review, and it will be my first Emery Lord book! I have heard so many good things about her books, so I am super excited to read it 😀

    • From the reviews I’ve seen from those who have read The Winner’s Kiss, it sounds like it’s got a good ending!

I’ll be curious what you think of When We Collided. I just read a review for it yesterday that made me feel less certain, though all the others I’ve read have been positive, so we’ll see! I really want to love it like I did The Start of Me and You!

  5. Ooh I hope you like When We Collided!! I mean, I wasn’t a big fan, but I still would like to try something else by the author?! AND AFJKLDSAD THE WINNER’S KISS. *shrieks* I cannot wait to read that. CANNOT WAIT. *flails* I’m also highly looking forward to Half Wild and the last Dorothy Must Die book. 😀
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!

    • Based on your review of When We Collided, I think you would like The Start of Me and You more. The relationship is much slower and develops naturally, plus there are some great friendship aspects to it!

  6. Truthwitch is totally on my list for this month. I like Susan’s newsletter so much and she was so fun and nice at the signing I got to go to. Mistborn is also on my list (as soon as it’s my turn at the library) because I’m *finally* going to read Brandon Sanderson.

    • Yay, can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Mistborn! I’m reading Truthwitch currently and enjoying it! Like you, I’ve really enjoyed her newsletter.
